Acting-Technique I Instructor: Danielle

This foundational course is designed to provide artisitic and
intellectual framework necessary for further development in Acting-II. It is meant for beginning actors as well as the experienced
actor frustrated in attemps to improve the quality of their work. Through specific exercises, guided improvisation, monologue
and purposeful theatre games students explore/experience essential elements such as relaxation, observation, imagination,
concentration and sensory life while sharpening the senses, strengthening the will and learning to pursue objectives. The
exercises developed by Uta Hagen and set forth in her book "A Challenge for the Actor" (required) are an essential part of
the class content and will be supplemented with exploration of various techniques of Lee Strasberg and Sanford Meisner.

Acting-Professional Lab Instructor: Roy

PRE-REQUISITE: TECHNIQUE I & II, OR EQUILEVANT: BY INTERVIEW
ONLY. Designed for actors who have a strong desire to improve their skills. This lab focuses on strengthening the will while
acknowledging and embracing each actor's uniqueness and expressiveness. Advanced exercises focus on maintaining the actor's
relaxation and concentration, thus permitting the full expression of the individual's emotional, physical and artisitic uniqueness,
always in a supportive, safe environment. Scene and monologue work will incorporate the learned elemants to help the actor
to respond honestly, creatively and imaginatively to the given circumstances of the script.

MONDAY-Instructor, Danielle Barry Designed specifically
for the eager teen ready to be challenged! The young actor will explore basic technique and open the creative imagination,
primarily through the use of purposeful theatre games, exercises and improvisation. Students will learn techniques for relaxation
and concentration. Just right for the formative years, whether the goal is a career in the arts or improved confidence and
self-esteem through self discovery. SATURDAY-Instructor, Roy Barry This class will explore a variety of acting techniques
and enable the young actor to implement this new understanding into every day life as well as on stage. Theatre games, improvisation,
exercises to open sensory awareness and other exercises will be used and incorporated into scene and monologue work. Both
stage and film technique will be addressesd
In both classes students will learn expressiveness with physically demonstrative
exercises designed to open the imagination, creativity and avenues to character development. These classes and exercises are
designed specifically for the young actor to flourish in a safe and supportive environment.

Musical Comedy Workshop Instructor: Roy
Barry Instructor Bio
This workshop focuses primarily on the integration of script
and character into song and/or dance. Students will learn how the technique for musical presentation adheres to the same
fundamentals of acting; i.e. being truthful, honest and faithful to one's commitment as defined by the script. Students will
work on movement as well as vocal presentation. Accompanist provided.

Acting for Camera-I Instructors: Harry

Designed for actors with foundational training/experience. This
workshop will provide basic film acting technique through the use of exercise and scene work, emphasizing the transition
from stage to hands-on, concrete, useable, practical instruction is provided by knowledgeable, experienced instructors. Final
video of directed scene included.
